This month we focused on the updated School Improvement Planning process and participation in the Diaper Bank program. Both efforts are part of our strategies for providing a quality environment for students to succeed and perform their best.
We need educators who are focused on goals and supporting academic success for all students. We also need a caring environment where students can feel and actually be supported in their roles as parents, providers, and more in their young lives. The Diaper Program is one of those offerings for young parents. Diapers are provided for babies of our students in participating counties as they navigate meeting high school requirements.
Our students are smart. Our students are resilient. They just need meaningful adults in their lives to help them navigate adult territories. Meaningful school improvement planning and diaper support are two of the many tools Foothills has to offer.
